Robert "Reg" Gipson, JD, CFA, President and Chief
Investment Officer formed his pragmatic investment
philosophy through his years as a tax and business attorney.
Mr. Gipson began his career in the Tax Group of the Los
Angeles law firm of Irell and Manella. After helping found the
law firm of Gipson, Hoffman & Pancione, he continued to
represent individuals, private and public companies and
charitable entities.
In 1998, after more than 20 years of helping privately owned
businesses and high net worth families with their investing
needs, Mr. Gipson helped form Alpha Analytics Investment

Jack McNally is Vice President, Operations and Chief
Compliance Officer for Alpha Analytics Investment Group,
LLC. Since 1989, Mr. McNally has also been Vice
President, Finance for Corporate Management Group,
Inc., a family office which provides specialized financial
services to wealthy families, individuals and their related
companies and trusts. Mr. McNally has blended his
extensive experience in the areas of finance, accounting
and investments with a desire to meet the changing
financial needs and requirements of his clients.
Prior to joining Corporate Management Group, Inc., Mr. McNally provided his finance
and accounting services to 3 manufacturing corporations. It is from this experience
that he became convinced that wealthy individuals and families could benefit from
sophisticated corporate finance disciplines, methods and practices.
Mr. McNally began his professional career as a certified public accountant (CPA) in
the State of California with a national CPA firm. There he provided tax, auditing and
consulting services to a variety of companies and individuals.
He received his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Southern
California in 1979.
John M. Gipson, Phd., Vice-President, developed his
investment philosophy during his career as a scientist. He
believes that emotions often play too large a role in deciding
when, how and where to invest. The best shield against
making decisions colored by emotions, he says, is to bring
quantitative techniques to the process.
After receiving a Ph.d. in Theoretical Physics from Yale
University in 1982, Dr. Gipson served on the faculty of Virginia
Polytech and subsequently worked at NASA. This background
gave him the ability to apply mathematical and statistical
techniques to analyze and solve real world problems.

Group, LLC. Alpha Analytics provides investment consulting and investment
management services to individual portfolios, corporate retirement plans and trusts.
Mr. Gipson graduated from Harvard University (A.B. 1967) and Yale University (J.D.
1973). He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1973. He founded the Los
Angeles Venture Association (LAVA), a not-for-profit venture forum and serves on
the Board of Trustees of the City Scholar's Foundation, the Clio Foundation, the
Claremont University Consortium and the James Redford Institute for Transplant
Awareness.
Dr. Gipson's varied scientific and engineering career has had a profound influence
on his investment philosophy. He began applying scientific knowledge to finance
and investments when making his own investment decisions. In 1998, he began
providing Alpha Analytics with "financial engineering" advice based on quantitative
analysis. In 1999, he became a vice president. Dr. Gipson developed Alpha
Analytics' proprietary quantitative investment model. Dr. Gipson works in the Silver
Springs, Maryland regional office of Alpha Analytics.
Our Team
"Alpha" (α) is a financial
term describing that part
of an investor's return
that is due to the skills of
the investment manager,
as distinct from the return
of the market as a
whole. "Analytics" is the
process of systematically
collecting and analyzing
data in the service of
effective decision
making. At Alpha
Analytics, we strive to
add Alpha value through
skilled fundamental
analysis and a scientific,
disciplined approach to
investing.
